Robt Pennick of Earls Colne in the said county poulterer acknowledgeth himself indebted to our sovereign lord the king in the sum of 10li to be levied upon his goods and chattels lands and tenements to the use of our said lord the king if he the said Robt do not appear at the next general quarter sessions for an assault and Edw Wash of Earls Colne aforesaid miller acknowledgeth himself indebted in 20li to be levied upon his goods and chattels land and tenements to the use of our said lord the king if the said Edw Wash do not appear at the next general quarter sessions of the peace and answer to all such bills of indictments as shall be presented against him by Robt Pennick for an assault upon the said Robt and not depart the court without leave then these to be void taken and acknowledged the 17.10.1749 before me Wm Tweed Robt Pennick 10li Edw Wash 20li
