Jn Brownson holdeth by copy of court roll of the said manor one croft of land called East Field Crofte lying between the demesnes of the said manor called Chalkny Croft and Chalkney Fenn towards the north east and south and towards the west upon the lane leading from Earls Colne towards Great Tayne and containeth 2a4p and renteth yearly for the same (139)
