memorandum at a vestry holden this 22.4.1728 it was agreed by the churchwardens of this parish that the piece of ground whereon formerly stood a house belonging to the church together with the joint use of the well adjoining thereunto which piece of ground abuts towards the north of the street leading to the church and towards the west on the little lane leading from the street to the lane commonly called the back lane shall be let unto the widow Edwards living in one of the tenements adjoining to the said piece of ground at the yearly rent of 1s witness Thos Bernard vicar Jn Hatch Ambrose Towers churchwardens
