text: In Angami villages, morungs may exist but you have always to search for them. In Tseminyu it is the morungs which immediately catch the eye and you cannot miss them. The central feature is two great pillars carved from solid trunks. In Angami carving, the forms are always in very low relief, but in Rengma the forms are cut deep out of the trunk and stand boldly out.
