16th May '47. Halted at Phek. Spent the morning going into question of water supply for Hospital, School and village. If a small hydro-electric scheme is combined with the water supply, the following are needed: |

We might manage the water supply but cost of carriage would kill the hydro-electric scheme. The water supply is badly needed for Hospital, School and village and somehow we ought to manage it. Satakha School have preference as only 800' ft. is needed to distribute to hostels etc. and they will carry this pipe from Sakhabama I.B. |
