text: Totok are enraged at the attack on Choknyu - Choknyu was 'brother' to Totok - Totok are quite unwilling to lie down under this blow.
text: - came in and saw me on 1/2 - Chen are now camping at Choknyu - systematically burning all the grain - rounding up the buffaloes & mithans & pigs - one morung of Choknyu (Sabait 50 men) are in Totok - survivors - 2 morungs completely wiped out - what should Totok and Shengha do?
text: I told them that I had asked for Assam Rifles and I implored them to wait until they came - Totok said that they would wait for 1 week - If Govt. did nothing, they would combine with Shengha and attack Chen
