text: | 2. Hukpong - Pongu |
text: | Pongu took the head of Kaulim in 1945 and the matter never properly settled except that war was forbidden. October both villages told that they were now administered - early in November a party of 6 men from Hukpong including Kaulim's son went and killed a Pongu man - chased - jettisoned the head but got back with a leg. [In spite of administration - and in spite of my Tuensang tour but perhaps inspired by the thought that now or never.] |
