text: .....Its more than time to leave here as the administration is unspeakable and prices are soaring. I just don't know what is going to happen to the poor man living on wages.
text: I haven't got any news from the hills. Kevichusa reigns at Mokokchung, and Imlong & Co. are trying to get trans frontier Sema villages put under Chang (Tuensang) control. You can imagine the row. Nudad Ali is D.C., and according to himself, has frequent escapes from Nagas who draw their daos or rattle their spears at him. Not a word of truth, of course. All the Nagas have said that so far he has given them no trouble and if he does they will get rid of him. What could be more reasonable or polite?
