text: Independence is not wanted by Lhotas, Rengmas and the smaller Naga tribes because this would merely mean Angami rule. Educated Angamis exploit all other Nagas - a check against Angami exploitation is necessary.
text: Tribal D.C's is the best solution + autonomy within Assam. (eg. a Naga D.C. for Lushai Hills and Lushai or Khasi for Naga Hills.)
text: Tea has had a bad effect - always make very strong - do not know how to use milk - constipation.
text: Lhotas are still mainly Ancients - the mission ban on madhu is what hold up further conversions - still only 20,000 christian who are keen on education 70 villages.
text: Christian Lhotas have the full morung system but without the name - morung is in practice a latrine - the boys micturate on the floor or just outside. Christians have boys' hostels and girls' hostels - taught to micturate far away and keep the halls clean - and given bible training (as against tribal training) - in both cases training - no carvings because the suspect matter is linked to tribal religious practice (could have kept carving but changed the subject matter).
