Christian Lhotas have the full morung system but without the name - morung is in practice a latrine - the boys micturate on the floor or just outside. Christians have boys' hostels and girls' hostels - taught to micturate far away and keep the halls clean - and given bible training (as against tribal training) - in both cases training - no carvings because the suspect matter is linked to tribal religious practice (could have kept carving but changed the subject matter). |
