| text: | There was a michem tree just outside Yekhum, where after a child is born, the midwife takes the after-birth, wrapped up in bits of rag, and hangs it in a little basket on the tree, where the dogs and pigs cannot touch it. If they ate it, death or illness would strike the child. |
