text: 7/7/1936 Mills and I started off at about half past nine to visit the village, Kongnyu. Although we had ponies we stayed on foot for much of the way as it was very steep and we did not want to exhaust the animals. The heat was so great that when we reached the village we had to take off our shirts and wring them out. Kongnyu is 2740 ft. high. That is more that 2000 ft. higher than the Borjan bungalow.
