text: Mongsenyimti 17/7/1936. This morning I sent Tsampio ahead with seven carriers and used the morning for writing letters. Father, Betty, Pittioni, Major Esse, Castle, and for sending on three films to Calcutta. In addition I looked at (108) the village book of Mokokchung which has some notes about Konyak villages, some of them I copied. Then I also had a look at the files on cases of murder which had occurred among the Konyaks over the last twenty years. I noticed that amok seems to be rather frequent.
