text: Then I let the school teacher tell me some things about Tamlu feasts of merit (notebook 6 p. 103). Later Dzem-ang (Bala) came and when I asked him also about black magic he told me that the sick gaonbura (38) was in the chowkidar's house as he wanted to go to the hospital but could not go any further. I immediately went over to see him and found him in a dreadful condition but he could come to my bungalow. For weeks now he suffered from intense headaches and now on top of it he has a sore on his upper thigh from lying on the hard mat for so long. After finding that he had no temperature I gave him a Neokratin which lifted the pain within a short time. Then I disinfected the wound and put on a bandage with Desitin. I also promised to come to his house the next day.
