text: (144) Longkhai 17/10/1936.
text: I had intended to walk over to Punkhung today to catch up with some photographs but now came the news that Punkhung has dysentery and therefore the Longkhai people did not like to see me go to Punkhung and return in the evening to their village as they fear that I might carry the illness with me. I also hear that Punkhung has built a fence between the infected khel and two others and so far untouched khels which is crossed by no one. This is a very practical measure which might be successful as the khels also have different springs.
