text: (176) Chantongia 8/11/1936.
text: Chingai, Apong and two Totok people, among them a 'small Ang', had joined us in Tamlu. In addition several Lapha men had come with Chingai, so we were a real little column. Today as well I rode ahead most of the time and I could frequently gallop along the many even stretches, although the pony had the habit of rushing past the trees with just barely a hair's breadth of room.
