text: It started to rain towards evening but regardless of that the boys of the Lamnu brought large coarsely woven mats of split bamboo and covered the platform with them. They put a grid of bamboo sticks across to keep the mats in their place. When the platform was finished they started dancing on it despite the pouring rain but soon they retreated into the shelter of the Wang-ban. It went on raining continuously.
