text: The family of the Punkhung Ang also comes from Tanhai. A long time ago the Punkhung people killed their own indigenous Ang and then asked Tanhai for an Ang. When his line finally died out Tanhai sent another Ang to Punkhung. Supposedly the people of the Longdza morung also mostly come from Tanhai.
