text: In the village I only noticed today that although most houses have a straight front with a strongly projecting roof which however forms an open gable, there are several houses, especially those of Ang people as one can see from the bamboo plaiting of the front, (37) which have a curved roof reaching down across the front, similar to the houses of Wakching
