text: Today I passed the house of Medzong who had died a bad death (see page 164) and saw that there was a little frame set up with some of his possessions as is done for others who have died as well. In a few days his head will be separated from the body and the whole village will hold a genna on that day. The head is then buried separately and the usual offering will be made at the annual celebrations. The fear of a bad death is much less pronounced here than it is in Namsang and among the Ao.
