text: While discussing relationship terms (206) it came about that a man addresses all girls in his morung group as 'unia', a term he otherwise uses only for girls of other morungs who are considerably older. The others who are eligible to be married, he either does not address at all or if they are younger he uses their name. He can joke with them and make the most daring jests while he is extremely proper with girls of his own group. Success in love is proudly registered and not kept a secret. Metlou thinks he has slept with about twenty girls and Yongang says the young men are like dogs, whereever they can get a girl they will try their luck.
