text: In the village we went to the largest morung. There we found the 'owner' and several boys. The owner Deusuba knows broken Hindi and is an intelligent man. From him we got the list of clans and subclans represented in the village; - there are three major clans. One is regarded as the founder clan. The morungs are not of equal age; - the one in the part of the village which clings to a steep slope is the most recently founded and only ten years old. It was established when that part of the village came into existence.
