From Boronianglo we returned to Laisong. The path dropped steeply through high forest. It was very hot and about 1.30 pm. We stopped in a jhum and ate a cucumber - deliciously juicy - and then I found a nice couple weeding jhums and filmed them. Man and wife, - both handsome and cheerful,- were thus working together.

We reached the Laisong I. Bungalow at 2 pm, very hot and tired. A bath refreshed me.
