[1970 KUNBA lives in house 1. He has one son CHINYAK, married to Nengli (Nokanokphong, Angban). Lian married HENYONG (Dzonok, Balang). She had one son from a lover. He divorced her and she went to live with LEMANG of Angban; her son became automatically Angban, Nokanokphong. She then had a daughter; while she was pregnant she was divorced because he suspected her that she slept with his father. She went back to her father's house and now lives with Kunba. The son is with his mother and is unmarried. He is Nokanokphong; he will not get LEMANG'S property; LEMANG married another wife.]

Next year TAIDZING will separate and build a house of his own. It will be difficult to find a site, but he must leave to avoid disputes over the property. At present YONGANG'S mother is in charge of the house; she will remain. TAIDZING will be allowed to cultivate part of YONGANG'S land. Liang is alive and married to a Balang man.]

[1970 Dangwem had no more children; he and his wife died and the house-site is abandoned. It is inherited by Dangwem's nearest kinsman, but there is a belief that the house-site is unlucky, hence it is unoccupied. The house-site could be sold. The minimum price for a site is Rs. 100/-.]

[1970 He-ong fell from a tree and died. His three sons are alive. Angmen inherited the house; the younger sons built separate houses.

Linha died before Heong. Then He-ong married Shongsham (Yinyonghu, Balang). They had no children. He divorced her and married Shikna (Yinyonghu, Balang). He had to pay a heavy fine to Shongsham's kinsmen. As he had no laya or cloth he had to sell land. He should have paid 1 laya, 1 cloth or two fields. As he had no laya he had to buy one for one field, and he gave another field for a cloth. His sons now blame him for having squandered his property. The third wife, Shikna, had three daughters, of whom only one is alive. Shikna died before He-long.]

[1970 Yongwang was a village near Naginimara, now there is forest. A combined force of Wakching, Chui, Mon, Leangha raided and burnt Yongwang. It was a son of Wakching but refused to give tribute; therefore it was raided; heads were also taken. Most people went to Assam and now live in Chingang, a Konyak village, where Konyak is still spoken.
