text: Deities:
text: Tingwang - the highest god (ting = sky, wang = rajah).
text: Ke-de-wang - (male) god of the earth
text: Ship-rai - god of the rice (male); sacrifices for rice crops are given to him.
text: Pujas for illnesses are made for Tingwang. There are no female deities. Haruiram (Harejam) is the place of the dead, it is inside the earth. There is no belief (it appears) in spirits who catch the souls of people and make them ill. No sacrifices are given to spirits as a cure, only to Tingwang, "because the ill person is his son".
