text: To Bagtimukh. On the way I ordered a number of points to be cleared so that I could get a good view of the land between Kiyezu's and Ralung. It will probably be necessary to give "Pembvo" to Kiyezu and to let Ralung come as far south as the 24th mile. Meanwhile Hovishe has applied for the site of Hanye, an extinct Lhota village on the plains side of the Rongazu-Ralung ridge. I do not think there will be room for another village there but will see on my way back. Hovishe claims to have the S.D.O.'s leave to migrate if he can get a site, and his own village is short of land. Counted Ralung. The Dayang was clear on the 6th morning but muddy by midday.
