text: To Nichuguard, after a sticky start encumbered by appellant litigants and miscellaneous petitioners.
text: At Nichuguard I found that the map of the cart road which used to hang most usefully over the fireplace in the Inspection Bungalow was gone. Apparently the Public Works Department Overseer took it away nearly two years ago and has never returned it. It is most unfortunate that it should have gone and I hope the Executive Engineer will secure its return. The map showed both the stages and the heights on a double chart.
text: The Diphu too dirty to fish in, but very pleasant to bathe in. A few miscellaneous petitions in the evening.
