text: To Ghaspani and in the afternoon up to Mezifema and back. I suggest that the Executive Engineer might have the white beastliness removed from the window of the centre room of the Inspection Bungalow.
text: I visited the garden. Only one of my orange trees is flourishing. The Sub-divisional Officer must be asked for more, or they may be sent from Tissema - better still, the mali might come and fetch them. On the way I got my letters from the open bag. They were soaking wet and I noticed that the bag was full of holes and worn out. The Post Office might provide some new ones, I think, as this at any rate is very far from waterproof.
