Repairs to police quarters, tree pruning and an inaccurate map at Zubza |

To Zubza. Inspected the repairs to the Police quarters. The anti-rain slats in the gables are too close together, but otherwise the work will do all right, and ought to keep out the rains. The trees in the compound are so close that the fruit trees are being spoilt. I suggest that the Executive Engineer should have the Dimapur-side branches of the Grevillea cut off and the two main branches of the persimmon tree next to it which interfere with the persimmon tree next to that cut away, leaving the small persimmon with only one (the Kohima side one) of its three stems. |

Studying the 4M=1 inch map "corrected" to 1912, we noticed that the cart road is shown as running up the Keruma spur instead of the Piphima-Kirufema side of the Zubza valley. There is a serious error and it ought not to be perpetuated. |
