text: Through Shedhumi, a new Sema village where the Angami Siduma was, to Mohumi (Sema for Mewhima). Shedhumi has 20 houses and seems to be doing quite well except for the bitter quarrels of the two chief men. They wanted to separate but I said they would have to learn to live together as I couldn't have so small a village splitting up any more. Mohumi is very prosperous, all except the persons who have agricultural loans to repay. As for the Shedhumi loans, I see very little chance of ever getting back more than a fraction.
