text: To the Dilli river camp on the Dibrugarh district boundary, about 5 miles. We sent the camp direct (Capt. Rundall and all the escort but one section went straight to Borhat from Rusa, as transport is not available by our route) and struck the river higher up, fishing down to camp.

text: Halted to dispose of dak. Expected Mr. Durant's boats from Barpatra that day, but they did not come.

text: Owing to absence of boats, could not move down to Borhat as we intended. The boats turned up in the afternoon.
