text: To Lishiyo, about 10 miles, reassessing Yimbarasa, Yimza, and Momphiyo by the way. All very small villages. There has been a better cotton crop than usual this year, but prices are bad, partly owing to the fact that the road from Mirapani to Furkating is not open. If the contract were given to the Lhotas they would have had it cleared early in the cold weather and enabled vehicles to come to Mirapani, but all that happens when S.D.O. writes to the Chairman of the Local Board to suggest it is that he is told that the contract has been given and he should write again next year. This happened last year and again this year, but the road is not open.
text: There are forked stones at Momphiyo and Lishiyo as at Yoshimo. The Lishiyo one seems natural but the Momphiyo one looks as if it were artificial.
