text: Halted. It took me all morning to visit all the gaonburas in this huge village of 600 houses, which must be two miles long from end to end. It seems to be at peace with its neighbours for the moment, but the khel feuds are still bitter. They have caused a lot of bloodshed, and the khels are strongly fortified against each other.
