text: Up about 8. Col. & Mrs T. had gone down to the river. Followed, and found Mrs T. (30) sitting in middle of suspension bridge, with entranced retinue of three
text: Lex's bed made up on bug-walk. Wish her luck.
text: Horace & Lex arrived, & we all continued to fish, with complete unsuccess except for lame Kabui (32) coolie, who caught crab with his fingers. Severe shortage of chairs at dinner. Horace's pyjamas missing, & he strongly suspected us of pinching them.
text: Nov. 19th.
text: Woke to rain, & walked down in drizzle to village just short of Yangaingpokpi, where the cars met us, and drove in through mud. Learn Horace's panee-wallah cycled to Yangaingpokpi last night with the forgotten pyjamas.
