text: 26th Feby.
text: No reply yet received from Raja regarding the survey in the valley. Worked at letters & Progress Report all day. Rain again during the night although it was looking very clear about 10 o/c pm. Rain next morning early, thunder over hills on NW with showers about 10.30 am.
text: 27th Feby.
text: Finished long letter to Nevill & another one home which went off. Raja's reply having been received we determined to commence triangulation in the valley. Went up to Chinga mukka in the evening but it was too hazy to do anything as the Jemadar who goes with us wanted a day to prepare & as Ogle also had some points & a trace to prepare we decided it would be best to put off the start until the 1st.
text: 28th Feby.
text: Got traces done & all ready. Finished a drawing & packed away all the bird skins & finished up Progress report.
