text: Saturday 8th.
text: Started at 7 a.m. Got to Buragaon at 8. Stopped about 1 hour. Got to foot of hill by 10. Tiffin shortly after. Reached Giladhari 3. Dak met us. Colonel & Elliott went to Oating. I went into Golaghat. Arrived about 7.30. Found Stephenson and W. Butler at dinner. Dined too & soon to bed.
