Marched at 7 a.m. Arrived at Yangfi about 8.30. Waited for coolies. Went out to work till 11. Got two bags of rice. Breakfasted in morung at 11. Started again at 12.30. Worked on the road down. Passed through Longbu a little new village. Reached the river at 4 leaving Mongdim to the left. Shaded up plane table. Camp very good. Pleasant stream and very flat open country. These villages all resemble Kamahu very much. I fancy they are the same (62) tribe. The morungs are not so elaborate. Saw a new tiger as per margin |

Stockading here begins to be made of matting again with two or three enclosures and ditches - styles etc. |

Morungs here contain the drum but are enclosed and have an inner chamber in which is the fireplace and four boarded sleeping maichans. |
