text: 1st February, Sunday. Having heard yesterday that the Commissioner was detained at Gowhatty through ill-health and would be unable to visit Golaghaut this year I marched back to Borpothar.
text: The whole of the jungle along this portion of the road has been cut and cleared and the bridges are now being repaired but in order to make this a road fit for traffic all the year round a very considerable portion of it requires to be raised.
