text: [5] 7th March, 187l, Tuesday. Marched to Dimapur The whole of the earth work on the road between the foot of the Samaguting Hill and Dimapur has now been completed and all stumps have been removed. I have however still got 60 coolies hard at work at the bridges and hope to get this portion of the road completed by the end of the month.
