text: 9th March, Thursday. Marched to Bogoori - distance about 18 miles through dense forest and jungle the whole way. Found the leeches attention and the mosquitoes familiar to a degree most unpleasant.
text: 10th March, Friday. Marched into Mohengdijcoa about 12 miles of much the same kind of road we passed along yesterday.
text: 11th March, Saturday. Moved camp about 9 miles down the Jammuna to the Heelbhata (rapids). Road much better here but a want of bridges makes it anything but pleasant whenever there is a heavy fall of rain such as we had again last night.
text: 12th March, Sunday. Passing through the Kuinnggung pothar we marched into Nokoliagnat today - distance about 10 miles or perhaps a little more.
text: 13th March, Monday. Marched into Mohijunga the road which was a near track through long heavy grass jungle terribly cut up with nets and large deep pools of water, mud and slush led us first in a northerly direction to Titliguir and from thence off to the west until we crossed the Jammuna at Habraghat (now deserted).
text: 14th March, Tuesday. Hearing that there was some good shooting in the neighbourhood I halted and was out all the morning. In the afternoon I halted office and disposed of several petty petitions on the revenue side and had a long conversation with several of the descendants of Toolaram Senapatti from whose statements I was enable to draw up the following genealogical table which may perhaps prove a useful reference hereafter as I am led to think there is an inclination on the part of some of these descendents to press their claims for further consideration.
