text: About a quarter of a mile to the north-east of Chichama is the small village of Nachama and these I am told are the last of the Sengimah villages in this direction, all beyond being Mazuma and Kevima, the consequence is that the Sengimahs and especially my Dobashas are doing their very utmost to prevent my going any further. However I have gone too far now to think of turning back until I have visited some at least of the Muzama Nagas and decided whether they and the Rengmah Nagas are really one and the same tribe or not. Besides which I am anxious to ascertain what tribes intervene between the Sengimahs and the Kevimahs or Lhota Nagas towards the east.
