text: 3rd January. Major Roma Sing very kindly lent me the services of his dooli and bearers to carry me into Kohimah today. We reached the villages just as Major Austin and Mr. Ogle were leaving it, the former en route to Kigwemah and "Japoo" and the latter to Rekromah and "Nidzukhru". "Japoo" I must explain is one of the highest peaks on the Burrail Watershed, close to and due west of Kigwemah, and "Nidzukhru" is a well marked Bill north-west of Tophemah. The former is 9,952 feet, the latter about 6,000 feet above sea-level.
