In all, Rs.43,990 were spent on this road. The wooden bridges on the Nichuguard-Kohima road were replaced by stone causeways, and a new trestle-bridge was erected 7 miles from Kohima. The new bridle-path from Henima was also completed to a distance of 33 miles from that place, where the work commenced. In Kohima station the waterworks have reached completion and a good supply of water has been made available to the public. Good progress was made in the construction of the fort wall and 27,000, out of a total of 33,000 cubic feet of stonework has now been erected. The roads between Kohima and Mao, Kohima and Wokha and Wokha and Golaghat were all put into good order.
