text: The Eastern Angamis behaved well on the whole, he bad feeling which has existed for some years between the village of Purbami in the political control area and the revenue-paying village of Chipfozumi culminated in a wrestling match, in which the young men on each side were engaged. With a view to discouraging contests of this kind, the Deputy Commissioner awarded both villages punishment labour.
