text: 16. The administered district continued to be quiet except for a serious riot between the Eastern Angami villages of Theprezumi and Purabami in which several persons were killed. The case has since been decided and two Theprezumis have been sentenced to death, and one man of Purabami and thirteen men of Theprezumi have been sentenced to various terms of imprisonment. The Semas were generally quiet. There was some trouble in the political control area. Two men from Rurorr and Purorr were treacherously killed at Phesami and the culprits have been arrested. The Phoms have given trouble. Hukpong killed eleven boys from Yungya on suspicion that they were planning a raid. The village was heavilly fined. The Konyaks were restless as usual. Totok raided Shuwa fields and Chinglong raided Mohung. Tang and Shengha were at war with casualties of one on each side.
