text: 9. The Sarkari Nagas in the Lakhimpur Frontier Tract behaved well. The Kacha Nagas were on the whole quiet, but there was evidence of much intrigue below the surface. An exhibition was sent against the villages of Nakhu and Pesu for not obeying Government orders that they should release the slaves held by them. Seven slaves were released as a result of the expedition, and Nakhu and Pesu were suitably punished. No raids of any importance took place between the Semas and the Yimtsungrrs. The Sangtams were on the whole quiet, but Longmatrarre was the victim of a raid in which it lost seven heads. The Konyaks were fairly quiet.
