There was no special term to denote the hours of the early afternoon, but the time approximating to 4 P.M. was called 'teang-tep-en-ong-dzang,' "time of returning from taro fields," for at this hour those women who had dug up taro growing on fields cultivated the previous season started on their way back to the village.
