(grass) 4.7.1612 sold the 4.7. abovesaid by me Rich Harlakenden of Earls Colne in the county of Essex esq unto Rich Nuton of Coggeshall in the county aforesaid innkeeper all the grass or forecrop of all the grass in my meadow called Kemborne in Earls Colne aforesaid except the forecrop of 4a lying next unto (542a) the widow Bird's meadow and all the rowen or after pasture coming remaining or growing upon all the said meadow called Kemborne till the feast of michaelmas next for the sum of 27li of good and lawful money of England the one half to be paid within a fortnight and the other at michaelmas next and the said Rich Harlakenden hath letten all the herbage or pasture of the said meadow forecrop and after crop from the feast of michaelmas next ensuing the date hereof unto the feast of michaelmas which shall be in the year of our lord god michaelmas.1613 for the sum of 26li13s4d to be paid at the feast of the annunciation and michaelmas by even and equal portions or within twenty-one days by me Rich Harlakenden Rich Nuton witnesses to this bargain Thos Harlakenden Rowland Penning I have received the money for the first crop and for pasture and taken it again
