whereas at a court here held tuesday being 19.9.1587 Jas Pennocke was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to one parcel of land with appurtenances containing 7a more or less etc as clearly divided and shown by the metes and bounds according to a copy of a roll of the same said court here in this full court produced and clearly shown now at this court it is shown by the homage that out of this court and after the last court the aforesaid Jas Pennocke surrendered the aforesaid premises with appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of Robt Cobbe instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Warde and Thos Smithe customary tenants of the lord the same testifying according to the custom of the aforesaid manor to the use and behoof of Jn Prentis son of Wm Prentis and his heirs and assigns who present in court sought from the lord admittance thereof to whom the lord by his aforesaid steward granted thereof seisin to have to the same said Jn Prentis and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine as is shown in the margin and made fealty to the lord and was admitted thereof tenant of the lord
