whereas at a court here held on feast day of st jas apostle 25.7.34Eliz1 Steph Marche was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to two crofts of land containing 5a now built on parcel of six crofts of land called Sevenacres altogether lying between a lane leading towards Bowerfield on one part and lands called Slowecrofts and Debenhams on the other part and one pightle containing 2r lying against the king's highway next to and joining Burton Field by name three crofts of land containing 5a more or less as by copy of a roll of the aforesaid court here in court produced and clearly shown now it is shown by the homage of this court that the aforesaid Steph Marche after the last court and before this court died seised of the premises and that Roger Marche is his brother and next heir and should have the right to the premises who the same said Roger present here in court humbly sought admittance to the premises to whom the lord by his aforesaid steward granted thereof seisin to have the same said Roger and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine etc and made fealty to the lord and was admitted thereof tenant of the lord
