was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and the heirs of his body legitimately procreated upon the conditions mentioned in that admission to two pieces of land called

as by copy of a court roll here in court produced and clearly shown whereas also at the said court the aforesaid
Jn Mydleton
surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the steward one parcel of the said land called
Mellfeilde
containing 4a1r27p to the use and behoof of

and his heirs who the same said

was also admitted at the said court to the said parcel of land now it is shown by the homage that the aforesaid

after the last court and before this court out of court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of

containing by estimation 3a more or less and now divided into two parcels and enclosed by a hedge and ditch one croft thereof abutting upon

on the west part and upon
Insteppes Mead
on the south part and the other croft abutting upon the king's highway towards the west to the use and behoof of

his heirs and assigns who the same said

present in court came and sought admittance for himself to the premises according to the aforesaid surrender to whom the lord by his steward granted thereof seisin to have to him and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine as is shown in the margin |
